Bunyodkor defeats Pakhtakor in Uzbek League

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Bunyodkor Tashkent defeated rivals Pakhtakor on Day 17 of the Uzbek Premier League and increased gap from the second placed team by 9 points.

Victor Karpensko opened the score in the 71st minute of the match, while Trifunovic doubled the lead of Bunyodkor two minutes later. Alisher Azizov was on target for Pakhtakor in the 89th minute.

Neftchi Ferhjana came back to defeat Andijan with the score 3-2, while Dinamo played a 1-1 draw with Kyzylkum.

Shortan Guzar defeated Almalyk with the score 2-0. Gevorkyn helped Nasaf to claim all three points in the match against Metallurg (1-0).

Navbakhor Namangan scored late in the match to claim 2-1 victory over Sogdiana. Mashal Mubarek defeated Bukhara with the score 2-0.
