Bukhara region’s GRP grows by 7% in Jan-Sep

The volume of gross regional product (GRP) of Bukhara region increased by 7% and industrial production grew by 7.7% in January-September 2010.
Agriclture production rose by 9.6% and output of consumer goods in the region increased by 8% in nine months of 2010.
Within the localization programme, the enterprises of Bukhara region produced goods for 20.1 billion soums, which allowed to save US$11.9 million hard currency.
Share of small and private businesses in the gross regional product made up 61% in the region.
Some 62,900 new jobs were created in Bukhara region, of which 51,000 fell to share of rural areas.
