Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A delegation from the Bukhara Regional Health Department, led by Elyor Oltiyev, is currently on an official visit to Türkiye.

As part of the trip, a meeting was held with Kemalettin Aydın, the rector of the University of Health Sciences of Türkiye, resulting in new agreements on cooperation. Under these agreements, 25 healthcare system leaders from the region will undergo a one-week training program in medical management.

Additionally, around 75 specialists will have the opportunity to participate in professional development courses in Türkiye, ranging from one to nine months. A group of young doctors from Bukhara will also be sent to study at the University of Health Sciences of Türkiye.

Furthermore, the region plans to develop high-tech surgical fields, including organ transplantation, cardiac surgery, neurosurgery, oncohematology, and endocrinology.
