Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — International exhibitions Big 5 Construct Uzbekistan and INDEX Uzbekistan will be held in Central Asia for the first time from 27 to 29 October 2027 at the CAEx exhibition centre in Tashkent. Organised by dmg events, the exhibitions will bring together representatives of the construction industry, real estate, hospitality and interior design sectors, alongside local and international companies.
The events will showcase construction technologies, materials, engineering systems, interior solutions and furniture. Organisers aim to create a platform for business networking, knowledge exchange and the promotion of new technologies in Uzbekistan and Central Asian markets.
Big 5 Construct Uzbekistan will feature building materials, equipment, building engineering systems and related services. INDEX Uzbekistan will focus on interior design, furniture, lighting, textiles, finishing materials and interior furnishings.
Holding the two exhibitions together will cover different stages of project development, from design and construction to interior finishing and furnishing.
“Uzbekistan is rapidly becoming one of the most promising markets in Central Asia, creating significant opportunities for the construction industry and related sectors,” said Matt Denton, president of dmg events.
He said the launch of the exhibitions would bring two international brands with decades of experience and extensive professional networks to the region.
Participants are expected to include property developers, hotel owners and operators, contractors, consultants, architects, designers, government representatives and distributors. Visitors will be able to explore new products and solutions, find suppliers and establish business contacts.
According to the press release, the development of the construction industry and urban infrastructure aligns with the priorities of the Uzbekistan–2030 strategy, which provides for urban modernisation, expanded housing construction, improved transport links and stronger industrial capacity.
The organisers also highlighted opportunities arising from the development of housing construction, infrastructure, the hospitality sector and commercial real estate.
Big 5 Construct is part of dmg events’ international exhibition portfolio and has a history spanning more than 45 years. INDEX, which specialises in interior design, has brought industry professionals together for more than 35 years.
