Bangladesh Commerce Secretary to visit Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- A delegation of Bangladesh led by Commerce Secretary Ghulam Hussain will pay a visit to Uzbekistan on 5-8 May 2012.

Financial Express reported that Bangladesh may sign an agreement with Uzbekistan for importing cotton during a meeting between the officials of the two countries.

The first meeting of Bangladesh-Uzbekistan Joint Working Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation will take place in the Uzbek capital on 5-8 May, the report said.

It added that Bangladesh and Uzbekistan will hold talks on expanding trade-economic relations, including cotton supplies.
