Members of Uzbekistan gymnastics team clinched two silver medals of the Asiad. Oksana Chusovitina won the silver medal of the Asian Games in competitions on the vault. Abdulla Azimov won another silver medal in the competitions on pommel horse.
Weightlifter Ulugbek Alimov claimed the third place and won the bronze medal of the Asian Games. In weight category of 85 kg, he lifted 369 kg: 164 in snatch and 205 kg – clean and jerk.
Currently, Uzbekistan won ten medals of the Asian Games, of which three are silver medals and seven – bronze medals.
