Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- On 11 September, Uzbekneftegaz (Uzbek Oil and Gas) hosted a meeting with the officials of Credit Suisse (Switzerland), during which issues of the bank’s participation in financing investment projects implemented by Uzbekneftegaz were discussed, the press service of Uzbekneftegaz said.
Uzbekneftegaz provided the bank’s representatives information on the company’s activities, implemented investment projects in the oil and gas industry, ongoing reforms in the industry and the country as a whole.
The representatives of the bank underlined their particular interest in participating in the financing of investment projects of Uzbekneftegaz, implementation of which has an important role for the economy of Uzbekistan.
At the same time, according to the representatives of the bank, this participation is not only commercial in nature, but will also serve to establish strategic relations between Uzbekneftegaz and Credit Suisse, designed for long-term fruitful cooperation.
Following the results of the meeting, an agreement was reached on joint consideration of the possibility of financing investment projects to expand the production capacities of the Shurtan MCC and the construction of a new oil refinery.
