Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Komil Allamjonov, a representative of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan in the United States, met with Michael Jerimiah, special assistant to the US president and senior director for South and Central Asia at the National Security Council.
Allamjonov said the talks focused primarily on organisational preparations for several upcoming international events.
In particular, the sides discussed the planned visit to Uzbekistan by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, a meeting in the C5+1 format in Samarkand, and the agenda for the G20 summit, which will be held in Miami.
