About 1.61 million tons of melons were produced in Uzbekistan.

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- According to preliminary data, from January to September 2023, about 1.61 million tons of melons were produced in Uzbekistan.

According to the Statistics Agency, the growth rate was 3.4% compared to the same period in 2022.

Analyzing the production of melons in various categories of farms, one can note significant results in dekhkan and subsidiary farms, where 868,600 tons were produced, which is 54% of the total production.
