Abdulaziz Kamilov receives new Ambassador of Algeria
Ambassador handed over copies of his credentials, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.
At the meeting, the sides discussed current state and perspectives of bilateral relations.
It was underlined that historic, cultural and spiritual community of people of Uzbekistan and Algeria, accrued experience of mutual beneficial cooperation are important preconditions for further expanding relations between two states in politics, trade-economic and other spheres.
It was underlined that the sides are planning to continue construction interaction within the UN, Organization of Islamic Cooperation and other structures based on common and close position of the state on actual international issues.
At the meeting, the sides exchanged opinion on expanding Uzbek-Algerian contacts in cultural-humanitarian and scientific-technological spheres.
