Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — As part of the Central Asia Retail Week International Forum on Retail and E-commerce, scheduled for 16-17 October in Tashkent, a trade and procurement exchange will take place.
The exchange will be hosted at the Intercontinental Hotel, offering suppliers and producers the opportunity to connect with major retail chains, including "Lenta," "X5 Group," "OZON," "Magnit," and "Magnit Kosmetik."
International participants such as "The MART," "Svetofor" Uzbekistan, "Amid" Group, "UZUM," and "Makro" will also be involved.
The exchange will be organized in 15-minute segments where suppliers and producers can present their products, showcase short presentations, and persuade prominent retailers to support their goods or equipment.
Elena Deryabkina, a representative from "MERTECH," a company specializing in commercial equipment, shared her expectations for the event:
"Since we deal with commercial equipment, we’re particularly interested in meetings with technical specialists from major retail chains in Russia and Uzbekistan, such as ‘Lenta,’ ‘UZUM,’ and ‘Makro.’ These specialists are best suited to evaluate our products, including weighing equipment and data collection terminals. We hope to establish cooperation during the forum."
