A state scholarship named after Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur was established in the areas of history and geography

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- A Presidential Resolution "On the wide celebration of the 540th anniversary of the birth of the great poet and scientist, well-known statesman Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur" was adopted.

According to the Resolution:

an international scientific and theoretical conference will be held on the topic “The role of the heritage of Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur in the development of Eastern statehood and culture”;

a program to promote international tourism "Babur’s Heritage" will be implemented;

measures will be taken to complete work on the feature film "The Birth of a Tiger", dedicated to the childhood of Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur;

Also, will be published:

- the supplemented third edition of "Babur’s Encyclopedia" about the life and work of Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur in Uzbek, Russian and English;

- book-album "Babur";

- Dictionary of Babur’s works;

- the perfect edition of Babur’s sofa.

From the 2023/2024 academic year, a state scholarship named after Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur in the areas of history and geography will be established for university students.

Until 1 August 2023, an international scientific electronic platform for Babur studies in Uzbek, Russian and English and its mobile application will be created.
