A state corporation will be created in Uzbekistan to attract investments and implement projects on the shores of Lake Aydarkul

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan plans to create a state corporation to attract investment and implement projects on the shores of Lake Aydarkul. This was announced by the khokim of Jizzakh region Ergash Saliev during the Uzbek-Kazakh business forum.

“In order to attract investments and implement projects on the shores of Lake Aydarkul, it is planned to create a state corporation with an authorized fund of $50 million,” he said.

The state corporation together with foreign partners, according to the khokim, will implement projects in the areas of fish farming, ecotourism and the provision of tourist services.

“We will be glad to cooperate with Kazakh companies in this direction,” said Ergash Saliev.
