Uzbekistan Wins Asian Youth Judo Championships

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan's youth judo team finished first in the overall standings at the Asian Judo Championships, which concluded in Amman.

The team won seven gold, two silver and six bronze medals during the tournament.

On the final day of competition, Uzbek judokas added four gold, one silver and two bronze medals to the team's tally.

Asian titles were won by Bekhruzbek Rustamboyev (under 90 kg), Fazliddin Rafikov (over 100 kg), Durdona Tursunova (under 70 kg) and Zarina Bobonazarova (over 78 kg).

Muhammadali Sadullayev took the silver medal in the under-100 kg category.

Bronze medals went to Kamronbek Kodirov (under 81 kg) and Shoira Aminova (under 78 kg).

At the end of the competition, Uzbekistan's youth team, like its junior team, finished first in the overall medal standings at the Asian Championships.
