A solar photovoltaic power plant with a capacity of 1 MW is being built at the Takhiatash TPP

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- The Takhiatash thermal power plant is also taking measures to replace electricity used for its own needs with alternative energy.

These days, a solar photovoltaic plant with a capacity of 1 MW is being built at the station.

According to the project, solar panels are being installed at an accelerated pace in areas where construction and installation work has been completed.

After commissioning, the station will produce 1.8 million kWh of electricity per year.

As a result, 400,000 cubic meters of natural gas per year will be saved.
