A man was detained in Kattakurgan district for trying to illegally sell a land plot

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Employees of the Samarkand Regional Department of Internal Affairs and the Samarkand Regional Department of the State Security Service detained a person involved in the illegal sale of state lands. 

During the event, a resident of Kattakurgan region, H.U., born in 1978, was caught red-handed while receiving from a local resident US$3,000 of the total requested amount – US$6,000 for 30 acres of land around Karadarya in Kattakurgan region. 

In fact, a preliminary investigation is underway.
