A fire broke out in a warehouse with coal in Surkhandarya region

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- On 9 August, in Termez district of Surkhandarya region, a fire broke out in a coal warehouse owned by the Ferganaazot company. This message was received from the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The fire was reported at 14:01. Five fire and rescue teams arrived at the scene at 14:10, and by 14:15 the fire was contained. By 15:20 the fire was successfully extinguished.

As a result of the incident, coal products were damaged in an area of approximately 70-80 square meters, but no one was injured.

The cause of the fire and the amount of property damage are currently under investigation.
