A container with construction materials burned in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- On 17 January, a fire occurred in Bektemir district of Tashkent, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.

Witnesses reported the fire at 5:16 p.m. Four fire and rescue brigades of the Emergency Situations Service arrived at the scene.

By 17:44 the fire was completely localized, and by 17:54 it was extinguished.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, a container with construction materials was on fire.

There is no information about casualties or deaths.

The cause of the fire and the extent of damage are currently being established.
