203,670 babies were born in Uzbekistan in 3 months

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- The State Statistics Committee said in a statement that in January-March 2022, the birth of 203,670 children was registered in Uzbekistan.

Born in January-March:

Number of boys - 104,777

Number of girls - 98 893

The largest number of births was recorded in Samarkand region (24,265 people). The lowest birth rate was recorded in Syrdarya region (5,422 people).
