Yandex Auto Becomes Tech Partner for Li Auto in Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Yandex Uzbekistan has announced a technological partnership with Li Auto, under which the Yandex Auto platform will be integrated into the standard multimedia system of the new premium family crossover Li L9, officially launched in the Uzbek market.
Thanks to deep platform integration, vehicle owners will be able to use built-in services including Yandex Maps, Yandex Fuel, Yandex Music, Yandex Books, and Yandex Video directly on the vehicle's standard displays without needing to connect a smartphone.
Using Yandex Maps, users can build routes taking into account real-time traffic conditions, use offline maps, and receive notifications about traffic cameras and roadwork. The Yandex Fuel service will allow drivers to locate gas stations along their route and pay for fuel online without leaving the vehicle.
The entertainment ecosystem includes Yandex Music with millions of tracks, personalized recommendations, and curated playlists; Yandex Books with audiobooks for adults and children; and Yandex Video, where passengers can watch movies, series, and cartoons directly on the car's screens.
All services are synchronized via Yandex ID, making saved addresses, favorite places, playlists, and musical preferences available to users, alongside the ability to resume watching a movie or listening to an audiobook from where they previously stopped.
"Today, users expect familiar digital solutions to be seamlessly built into the car and available from the very first minutes of a trip. Yandex Auto combines navigation and entertainment services in a single environment that does not require a smartphone connection and preserves personal settings and user preferences. The partnership with Li Auto will allow us to offer this experience to Li L9 owners and continue developing automotive technologies from Yandex Uzbekistan," said Izzat Shukurov, head of Yandex Uzbekistan.
The new Li L9 features a third-generation range-extender system providing up to 420 kilometers of electric range under the WLTC cycle and up to 1,650 kilometers of total range. Key technological solutions in the model include an 800-volt architecture, active suspension, a steer-by-wire system, rear-wheel steering, a new-generation intelligent cockpit with a 29-inch panoramic display, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8797 computing platform.
"Uzbekistan became the first foreign market entered by Li Auto last year, and the launch of the new Li L9 marks another important milestone in the company's development in the region. For us, it is important that advanced automotive technologies combine with a convenient digital environment adapted to local users' daily routines. The partnership with Yandex Auto makes it possible to integrate in-demand services directly into the vehicle's standard system and make them accessible without additional devices or connections," noted Julia Wu, General Manager of Li Auto in Central Asia.
In Uzbekistan, the new Li L9 will be available through the official dealership network of Control Auto, Vector, Aster, and Sultanov Motors. The vehicle is priced at 1,299,900,000 soums for the Livis trim and 1,099,900,000 soums for the Ultra trim.
Buyers purchasing the vehicle through official dealers will receive a factory warranty, certified service maintenance, access to original spare parts, technical support from the Li Auto engineering team, and official over-the-air (OTA) software updates.
The integration of the Yandex Auto platform into Li Auto vehicles marks another step in the development of the digital automotive ecosystem in Uzbekistan and the expansion of modern intelligent services for local users.
