Woman attempted to sell her baby

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- A citizen of Uzbekistan was detained, while she was attempting to sell a five-year-old child for 15 million soums. This was reported by the press service of the Prosecutor General of Uzbekistan.

According to the ministry, the woman was detained in Almazar district of Tashkent.

On this fact, a criminal case was initiated in accordance with paragraph "a" of part 3 of article 135 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, investigative actions are being conducted.
