Uzum Market to Open Export Access for Uzbek Sellers
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — National marketplace Uzum Market has announced plans to expand export opportunities for entrepreneurs in Uzbekistan by providing access to foreign markets through its existing digital and logistics infrastructure.
The company said the new direction will allow Uzbek sellers to move beyond the domestic market using established technological solutions and partner logistics networks. It emphasized that the development of export functionality will take place without direct competition with foreign sellers on the platform.
Uzum Market said its current technological and logistics capacity already enables cross-border e-commerce operations. Cooperation with the national postal operator and further development of logistics infrastructure will play a key role in the process.
The company highlighted its experience working with the postal operator Uzpost. Over the past two years, more than 820 parcel pickup points have been opened in postal branches across the country, significantly improving delivery accessibility for users.
As part of the platform’s next development stage, deliveries are planned to be expanded to Central Asian countries, including Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan. According to the company, the combined e-commerce audience in these markets exceeds 36 million people.
Uzum Market said the initiative is aimed at creating new growth opportunities for local businesses and strengthening the platform’s role as a tool for Uzbek entrepreneurs to access international markets.
