Uzhydromet warns of heavy rains in mountainous and foothill areas

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Due to the expected heavy rains on 6-7 October, in the foothills and mountainous regions of the republic, mudflows and floods are expected, Uzhydromet warned.

Uzhydromet said that the mudflows and floods can be observed in district of Kashkadarya region, Surkhandarya region, Samarkand region, Navoi region, Jizzakh region, Tashkent region, Namangan region and Ferghana region as well as Andijan region.

Uzhydromet asks citizens living in foothill and mountainous areas, vacationers and drivers traveling to mountainous areas to take precautions.
