Uzbekiston Havo Yollari starts to sell tickets in soums

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Starting from 5 September 2017, Uzbekiston Havo Yollari (Uzbekistan Airways) started to sell air tickets for all destinations in national currency.

The airline stated that all categories of passengers (residents and non-residents of Uzbekistan) can purchase air tickets on the territory of Uzbekistan in soums.

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree “On priority measures for liberalization of monetary policy” on 2 September 2017. The decree said that prices and tariffs for services, works and goods shall be set in national currency only.
