UzNIF Expects Significant Increase in Net Asset Value

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — JSC National Investment Fund of the Republic of Uzbekistan (UzNIF) said it expects a significant increase in its net asset value (NAV) as of 30 June 2026 compared with the figure published for 31 May.

The company said the independent semi-annual valuation of the UzNIF portfolio is nearing completion. Subject to final approval of the valuation report, the June NAV is expected to be substantially higher than the previous figure.

The increase is primarily attributable to updated fair values for selected unlisted assets and low-liquidity listed assets in the fund's investment portfolio. The revised valuations were prepared with the participation of an independent valuer.

UzNIF said the methodologies used to value the assets have not changed. Only the underlying data and assumptions were updated as part of the standard revaluation process.

The full report on the fund's net asset value as of 30 June 2026 is scheduled for publication on 21 July. Additional details on the main factors behind the change in NAV will be provided in the June report and during the company's upcoming semi-annual investor call.
