Uzbekistan’s GDP to grow by 5.5% in 2017 – President

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan’s economy will grow by 5.5% in 2017, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev stated in his message to the parliament on Friday.

According to him, the exports Uzbekistan will increase by 15% and current foreign trade balance reached US$854 million.

Uzbek leader said that the 5.5% growth of the Uzbek economy in 2017 is real and was verified several times.

Gold and exchange currency reserves increased by US$1.1 billion during a year, the Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.
