Uzbekistan wins Asian Water Polo title

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan won the First Asian junior Water Polo Championship defeating hosts Iran on Tuesday evening.

In the final match at Tehran’s Azadi Stadium, Uzbekistan beat the Iranian side 9-8 to win the trophy.

Singapore stood in the third place following its 8-6 victory over Qatar on the same day.

Iran, Uzbekistan, Qatar and Singapore took part in the First Asian Junior Water Polo Championship, which took place on 2-4 November.
