Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan has updated its list of Chinese enterprises and orchards authorised to export citrus fruits to the country.

The list of approved packing facilities for 2026 includes 241 companies from four Chinese provinces and autonomous regions, the Uzbekistan Committee for Food Safety said.

The largest number, 129 facilities, are located in Jiangxi Province and fall under the jurisdiction of Nanchang Customs. A significant proportion are based in Nanfeng County.

Another 99 companies are located in Zhangzhou, Fujian Province, mainly in Pinghe County, and are overseen by Xiamen Customs.

The list also includes 11 facilities in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, including locations in Khorgos, the Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture and Kashgar. Two more facilities are located in Taizhou, Zhejiang Province. Each company has been assigned a registration number.

The committee said citrus fruits are subject to phytosanitary controls in international trade because they can carry quarantine pests into importing countries. It is therefore important to monitor the origin of exported produce, as well as its sorting, packaging and compliance with phytosanitary requirements.

According to the committee, the updated list is intended to ensure the phytosanitary safety of imported citrus fruits, prevent the spread of quarantine pests and improve transparency in international trade.

The full list is available on the committee’s official website.
