Uzbekistan, UAE discuss development of gender statistics

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 22 April, Orzigul Kozikhonova, Chair of the Senate Committee of the Oliy Majlis on Youth, Women, Culture and Sports, held online talks with Hanan Ahli, Director of the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Centre of the United Arab Emirates.

The discussions focused on improving gender statistics systems and exchanging international experience in analytical work and data processing.

The sides reviewed a number of initiatives aimed at strengthening cooperation in priority areas, including the introduction of digital statistical tools and big data technologies to enhance gender analysis.

They also discussed the organization of joint training sessions and seminars involving experts from the UAE, as well as conducting joint research with specialized institutions.

Following the talks, both sides confirmed their readiness to further expand mutually beneficial cooperation and deepen practical collaboration in improving gender statistics and applying advanced analytical approaches.
