Uzbekistan, Türkiye foreign ministers discuss partnership
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov held a telephone conversation with Türkiye’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, during which the sides discussed current issues of bilateral and regional cooperation.
According to the head of Uzbekistan’s foreign ministry, the conversation was substantive and focused on the outcomes of the recently held Antalya Diplomacy Forum, which was positively assessed by both sides.
During the call, the ministers reviewed the expanding agenda of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Türkiye and exchanged views on regional issues of mutual interest.
Special attention was given to practical mechanisms for implementing previously reached high-level agreements. The sides also discussed ways to advance priority joint projects across various areas of cooperation.
