Uzbekistan Tourism Videos Shown on 3D Screen in Beijing
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Tourism videos showcasing Uzbekistan’s potential have begun appearing on a large 3D LED screen at the Solana shopping and entertainment center in Beijing as part of events marking the 35th anniversary of Uzbekistan’s independence.
The initiative was organized by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in China and the Tourism Committee, Dunyo news agency reports.
The videos introduce Beijing residents and visitors to Uzbekistan’s culture and traditions, historical landmarks and modern development. The organizers expect the campaign to help attract more Chinese tourists to the country.
Solana has operated since 2008 and is considered one of Beijing’s major and popular shopping and entertainment centers. According to information cited in the report, it receives more than 100,000 Chinese and international visitors daily.
The video also highlights Uzbekistan’s distinctive cities and cultural and tourist attractions, as well as the possibility for Chinese citizens to stay in the country visa-free for up to 30 days.
Li Shusheng, director of Beijing Yuanjingjie Media Co., Ltd., congratulated the people of Uzbekistan on the 35th anniversary of independence. He said the materials give Chinese and international visitors an opportunity to learn more about Uzbekistan’s tourism potential.
A Solana visitor, Wang Mingxin, said after watching the video that she would like to visit Uzbekistan and see its attractions in person. She also highlighted the hospitality of the Uzbek people and the variety of national cuisine.
According to Wang Mingxin, the possibility of staying in Uzbekistan for up to 30 days without a visa makes travel to the country more attractive for Chinese tourists. She also congratulated the people of Uzbekistan on Independence Day.
Similar screenings of tourism videos are planned in other cities across China.
