Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The administration of Uzbekistan’s Tashkent region and US-based Powerscape Global have signed a memorandum of cooperation to develop investment ties and explore new industrial projects in the energy sector.
The document was signed following a meeting between Tashkent Region Governor Zoir Mirzaev and Carl Moore, founder and chief executive officer of Powerscape Global.
The parties discussed opportunities to process locally mined coal more extensively to produce electricity, fertilizers and fuel, as well as the introduction of modern technologies.
According to the regional administration, implementing such initiatives could improve the use of energy resources, expand production capacity and support industrial development in the region.
Powerscape Global was founded in the United States in 2023. The company specialises in coal gasification technologies used to generate electricity, produce feedstock for fertilizers and manufacture other industrial products.
