Uzbekistan to play friendly match against Oman

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan national team on football will play a friendly match against Oman, Uzbekistan Football Federation said.

The federation said that the match will be held in Tashkent on 27 May 2012. The federation said it gave positive answer to proposal of the Omani side on holding the match.

Both teams qualified to the final round of the FIFA 2014 World Cup qualification round, but both of them are in separate groups. Top two teams will receive automatic berth to the World Cup in Brazil.

Uzbekistan will kick off its fourth round qualification campaign in Tashkent against Iran in June 2012.
