Uzbekistan to establish air communication with Afghanistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan will soon establish air communication with Afghanistan. The first flight from Kabul to Tashkent will be carried out on Wednesday, 29 November.

On 29 November 2017, at around 9:00 am, the first civilian aircraft from Afghanistan will land in Tashkent.

The Afghan airline Kam Air will operate code-sharing flights. Uzbekistan Havo Yollari (Uzbekistan Airways) is a partner in the direction with the right to sell tickets for the flight under its own code.

The air communication between the two countries opens on the eve of the visit of the President of Afghanistan Ashraf Ghani to Uzbekistan. It is expected that Ashraf Ghani will visit Uzbekistan in early December.
