Uzbekistan Showcases Pharma Reforms at Baku Forum

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan presented its pharmaceutical sector reforms and investment opportunities during the second international conference “Pharmaceutical Industry of Azerbaijan: Yesterday, Today and in the Future,” held in Baku on 5 May.

The conference brought together representatives of the pharmaceutical industry from Türkiye, Hungary and Kazakhstan, as well as delegates from other countries in the region. The event focused on exchanging experience and discussing strategic directions for the development of the pharmaceutical industry.

During the conference, a representative of Uzbekistan’s Agency for the Development of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry outlined the large-scale reforms being implemented in the country’s pharmaceutical sector. The presentation also covered the results achieved so far and the industry’s priority areas for further development.

Particular attention during the discussions was given to expanding international cooperation, adopting advanced industry practices and exploring new investment opportunities in the pharmaceutical sector.

At the conclusion of the conference, participants emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between countries and further developing joint initiatives in the pharmaceutical industry.
