Uzbek Startup Cerberus Wins Startup Battlefield 2026 Final
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbek startup Cerberus won first place in the regional final of Road to TechCrunch Startup Battlefield 2026 and earned the right to represent Central Eurasia at the global stage of the competition in San Francisco. The TechCrunch Startup Battlefield 200 final will take place on 13–15 October 2026.
This year, organizers received 726 applications from 39 countries. Following national selection rounds, 22 startups advanced to the regional final. Uzbekistan was represented by six projects: Cerberus, MoliyAI, Sino AI, Deepen, Fermopolis and Oqim App.
The regional final was held on 12 August. WeGlobal AI from Kazakhstan took second place, while LOOQ from Japan finished third. All three projects earned the opportunity to continue competing at the global stage.
Cerberus develops a cybersecurity solution designed to automatically identify vulnerabilities in corporate IT systems using artificial intelligence. The startup’s technologies are also aimed at automating security checks and managing AI actions within defined parameters.
In 2026, Cerberus attracted investment from international venture capital fund 500 Global.
The regional final winners will share an investment prize pool of US$100,000. The first-place winner will receive US$50,000, second place US$30,000 and third place US$20,000. The funding will be provided by Astana Hub Ventures, IT Park Ventures and Silkroad Innovation Hub.
In addition, OpenAI will provide the winners with API credits totaling US$100,000, distributed among the three prize places in the same proportions.
The top three winners will also have the opportunity to take the stage at TechCrunch Startup Battlefield 200 and present their projects at the TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 exhibition throughout all three days of the event. Two members of each team will receive a fully funded trip, including flights and accommodation for up to one week.
At the global stage, the Cerberus team will present its technology solution to international investors, venture capital funds and members of the global technology community.
