Uzbekistan, Samara Region Boost Agricultural Cooperation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Cooperation between Uzbekistan and Russia’s Samara Region in the agricultural and technological sectors is being further developed during the international industrial exhibition “INNOPROM. Central Asia” in Tashkent.
One of the key meetings took place between Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Uzbekistan Kakhramon Yuldashev and Deputy Chairman of the Government of Samara Region of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Romanov.
The discussions focused on expanding cooperation in the supply of agricultural machinery and improving agricultural efficiency through the introduction of modern technological solutions. The parties also addressed the possible resumption of cooperation with LLC “Pegas-Agro,” as well as the establishment of maintenance systems and service infrastructure development.
Special attention was given to expanding cooperation in the supply of specialized equipment for crop protection, fertilizer application, and land reclamation works, along with the implementation of innovative technologies in these processes.
Another area of discussion was creating conditions for enterprises from Samara Region to enter the Uzbek market, developing distribution networks, and facilitating participation in exhibitions and business missions. The sides also exchanged views on product certification, state support mechanisms, and financing of investment projects.
Following the meeting, both sides confirmed mutual interest in consistently expanding cooperation, implementing joint projects, and introducing innovative solutions in the agricultural sector.
