Tashkent Metro Studies Siemens and CICT Technologies in China

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A delegation from Tashkent Metro studied modern Siemens and CICT technologies in China aimed at improving operational safety, communications and specialist training. The Tashkent Metro state unit said.

The delegation, led by the chief engineer of Tashkent Metro, visited the Chinese city of Fuzhou, where it held meetings with representatives of Siemens and CICT.

During the meeting with Siemens, the delegation reviewed technologies for metro and railway transport, including signaling and communications systems, automatic door opening and closing devices, and solutions designed to improve operational safety.

Particular attention was given to safety systems on metro tracks and track sections, the prevention of hazardous situations, monitoring the safe movement of rolling stock and the automation of control processes.

Siemens representatives also presented simulator-based training systems for metro drivers and specialists. The sides discussed how such systems can simulate operational processes and prepare employees to respond to emergencies and non-standard situations.

At the next stage of the visit, the delegation met with representatives of CICT. The company presented its modern telecommunications solutions, including LTE-M technology and its potential use to provide reliable and uninterrupted communications across metro infrastructure.

Following the visit, representatives of Tashkent Metro and the companies discussed metro development, improving operational safety, introducing modern signaling and communications systems, using simulators to train specialists and further areas of cooperation.
