Uzbekistan receives 2,108,400 doses of Moderna vaccine as part of the COVAX program

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan received 2,108,400 doses of Moderna vaccine as part of the COVAX program.

The total number of vaccines delivered under this program reached 19.24 million doses.

COVAX is a global initiative bringing together WHO and UNICEF. UNICEF plays a key role in procurement and delivery.

UNICEF, along with partners, is pleased to be involved in an operation that makes COVID19 vaccines more accessible to the population of Uzbekistan.
