Uzbekistan produces 2.42 million tonnes of melons in 2022
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Farmers of Uzbekistan produced 2.42 million tonnes of melons in 2022, which is 5.9% more compared to 2021, the Statics Agency of Uzbekistan said.
An analysis of the total volume of melons produced by categories of farms showed that 42.9% of their volume falls on dekhkan and subsidiary farms, 53.3% - on farms, 3.8% - on organizations engaged in agricultural activities.
