The committee said that Uzbekistan produced 185,800 tonnes of cotton-yarn in the reporting period, which is up 19.6% year-on-year.
The volume of knitwork output in Uzbekistan grew by 50% year-on-year in January-December 2010 to 50.5 million units.

Uzbekistan produced 154,000 pairs of hosiery in twelve months of 2010, which is up 75.2% compared to the same period of 2009.
Production of raw silk threats grew 2.5 times to 246,300 tonnes, carpets and carpet products – by 59.4% to 655,200 square meters.
