Uzbekistan plans to harvest about 2 million tons of grapes this year

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan plans to harvest about 2 million tons of grapes this year.

Ripening will begin from the first ten days of July, depending on the soil and climatic conditions of the regions, Sputnik Uzbekistan reports.

Today, 12 table and five industrial varieties of grapes are grown in Uzbekistan, including table varieties - "Husayni", "Rizamat Ota", "Toyfi", "Surkhak", "Kelin Barmok", "Korazhanzhal", "Ok Kishmish", "Kora Kishmish", "Kishmish Botir", "Kishmish Vir" , "Kishmish Sagdiana".

Among the industrial ones are Alevtina, Bayan Giray, Riesling, Kaberniy, Muscat.
