Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The Uzbekistan national boxing team made a successful start at the World Boxing Championships taking place in Liverpool.
The first to enter the ring was Nigina Uktamova, who represented the country in the 54 kg weight category.
In her opening bout, she confidently defeated Kazakhstan’s Elina Bazarova, securing a place in the next stage of the tournament.
