First Uzbek-Georgian Business Forum to Focus on Tourism

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The First Uzbek-Georgian Business Forum, dedicated to the development of cooperation in tourism, will take place in Samarkand on 17 August 2026. Representatives of more than 10 leading Georgian tourism companies will attend the event to hold negotiations with representatives of Uzbekistan's tourism industry, according to the Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Prior to the forum, bilateral B2B meetings between representatives of the two countries' tourism sectors are scheduled to take place on 15 August 2026 at the Tourism Committee building in Tashkent.

During the talks, participants will exchange experience and discuss opportunities for developing new tourist destinations, increasing tourist flows, and expanding business ties between companies in Uzbekistan and Georgia.

The business forum is expected to contribute to the further development of cooperation between the two countries in the field of tourism and create conditions for the implementation of new projects by tourism industry representatives.
