Uzbekistan opens Trade House representation office in Brasilia
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) —The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to the United States and Brazil has announced the opening of a representation office of the Trade House of Uzbekistan in the capital of Brazil, Brasilia. The new office is designed to promote the development of trade, economic, and investment cooperation between the two nations.
As part of the inaugural event, negotiations were held with representatives of the Brazilian business community. The parties discussed the supply of Uzbek mineral fertilizers, product certification issues, the holding of industry-specific meetings, and the organization of upcoming business missions.
During his visit to Brazil, the Ambassador also met with the leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services (MDIC), and the export and investment promotion agency ApexBrasil.
During these talks, the sides reviewed prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation in the fields of trade, investment, industrial production, supplies of mineral fertilizers, geology, education, and sports.
Following the meetings, the parties reached a series of agreements aimed at the further development of trade, economic, and investment interaction between Uzbekistan and Brazil.
