Poland's LPP Explores Clothing Production in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Polish clothing company LPP is exploring the possibility of establishing product manufacturing in Uzbekistan in partnership with local enterprises, according to the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The matter was discussed on 25 August 2026 during a meeting between Uzbekistan's Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade Akram Aliyev and LPP Purchasing and ESG Director Dorota Jankowska.

The two sides discussed options for utilizing Uzbekistan's manufacturing capacity and expanding cooperation with domestic companies. Particular attention was given to the conditions required for setting up production within the country.

During the talks, participants also reviewed LPP's strategic development plans through 2028, exploring opportunities to expand the company's operational footprint in Uzbekistan and execute new joint projects.

Following the meeting, the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade expressed its readiness to provide necessary assistance and operational support to LPP as it expands its activities in Uzbekistan.
