Uzbekistan moves six places up in FIFA ranking

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) announced its new ranking of national teams.

Uzbekistan national team moved six places up in new ranking and now holds 49th place in the world.

Uzbekistan is the fourth best team in the FIFA ranking among Asian countries. Iran (37th place), Australia (45) and South Korea (47) are ahead of Uzbekistan among AFC members.

Argentina topped the FIFA ranking. Belgium and Germany share the second and third places respectively.
