Uzbekistan moves 10 places up in new FIFA ranking

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) announced its new ranking of national teams.

Uzbekistan national team moved 10 places up in new ranking and now holds 56th place in the world.

Uzbekistan is the third best team in the FIFA ranking among Asian countries. Iran (39th place) and South Korea (48) are ahead of Uzbekistan among AFC members. Japan (57), Australia (59) and Saudi Arabia (65) follow Uzbekistan.

Argentina topped the FIFA ranking. Belgium and Columbia share the second and third places respectively.
