Uzbekistan holds 73rd place in new FIFA ranking

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) announced its new ranking of national teams.

Uzbekistan national team moved one place up in the ranking and now holds the 73rd place in the world.

Uzbekistan is the sixth best team in the FIFA ranking among Asian countries. Iran (43rd place), South Korea (51), Japan (53) and Australia (59), as well as UAE (64) are ahead of Uzbekistan among AFC members.

Belgium topped the FIFA ranking. Argentina and Spain share the second and third places respectively.
