Uzbekistan Havo Yollari transports 573,000 passengers in 1Q

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan Havo Yollari (Uzbekistan Airways), a national airline of Uzbekistan, transported over 573,000 passengers in the first three months of 2014, the press service of the airline said.

In the first quarter of 2014, Uzbekistan Havo Yollari conducted over 5,494 flights.

The airline said that it transported 9,900 tonnes of freight in the first quarter of 2014, which grew by 14% year-on-year.

According to preliminary data, income of the airline made up 596.3 billion soums in the first quarter of 2014, which rose by 50.5 billion soums or 9.2% year-on-year.
